The one day symposium with the titel “Bioelectronics Therapies – Past, Present and Future” will take place on October, 1st, 2019 in London.
The event is organised by the Society of Medicines Research with the support of Galvani Bioelectronics, IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CAS) and IEEE Brain Initiative.

Speakers from both industry and academia, will provide expert insights into successful strategies and emerging technologies that are driving the new wave of emerging bioelectronic medicines. CorTec’s CEO Dr. Jörn Rickert will participate at the event with a talk at 4:25 pm.

The 49th annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience will be held from October 19th to 23rd in Chicago.

CorTec will be present there exhibiting our products for neuroscientific research at booth No. 1642.

With about 30,000 participants, Neuroscience is the largest conference in the field of neurosciences worldwide.

The 41st International Engineering in Medicine and Biology Conference will take place in Berlin from July 23–27, 2019.

The overarching theme is “Biomedical engineering ranging from wellness to intensive care”. Consistent with that theme, there will be plenary keynotes from leading academic and industrial scientists, who will present aspects of innovation and translational engineering in biomedicine.

The scientific tracks will cover the standard topics of the EMBS technical committees. Beside the scientific sessions, the congress exhibition will show biomedical companies, start-ups, biomedical institutes, universities, and provide networking opportunities for engineers, clinicians, other scientists, entrepreneurs and students.

From the 28th to 30th of March the 63rd Annual Scientific Meeting of the German Society for Clinical Neurophysiology and Functional Imaging (DGKN) will take place at the Konzerthaus in Freiburg, Germany.

CorTec will be featured in the “Emerging Technologies” session on March 28th. In addition, the conference will be accompanied by a specialized industrial exhibition, where CorTec will be present with a booth (booth no. 12).

The 9th International IEEE EMBS Conference on Neural Engineering will be held at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square Hotel, San Francisco, CA – USA on March 20-23, 2019.

Members of the Neuroscience, Engineering and Bioethics Communities are attending this highly multidisciplinary meeting to discuss developments in their fields. The conference will highlight emerging neurotechnologies for the restoration and enhancement of impaired sensory, motor, and cognitive functions, novel engineering tools for elucidating brain function, and discussions on the ethics of neurotechnology use and adoption by impaired and healthy individuals.

The 2018 IEEE Brain Initiative Workshop on Advanced NeuroTechnologies is a pre-SFN satellite event that will highlight the development of novel technological innovations, covering both invasive and non-invasive approaches. The Workshop will also focus on translational neural engineering and the interaction between neuroscientific research and the development of medical devices.
