Elect CorTec Innovator of the Year!

German technical Magazine Design & Elektronik has nominated CorTec among other 8 companies in the field of medical engineering (Medizintechnik) for the election of the “Innovator of the Year”.

The Design & Elektronik editors give the following explanation for nominating CorTec: In majority of cases neuro-implants are used for patients with an increased co-morbidity who have to undergo MRI examinations. Most systems on the market do not address the requirement of MRI compatibility at all or do not address it sufficiently. CorTec is working on an active implant for long-term application which is MRI compatible.
