New Publication on Brain Computer Interfaces by CorTec and Partners

CorTec_BrainInterchange_SurfaceAndDepthElectrodeA few days ago a new paper about Brain Computer Interfaces has bee published to which CorTec has contributed in cooperation with scientific partners. The study examines the performance of BCIs including CorTec Brain Interchange with regard to the requirements of new therapies.

The researcher group comes to an important conclusion: No technology which is currently on the market is powerful enough to realize effective closed loop applications which are urgently needed to develop therapeutic innovations. In the closed loop the implant controls itself autonomously by using the recorded data that it collects after sending out stimulation impulses

CorTec Brain Interchange could be a game changer to realize such applications.
